November 7th 2009 - Just a quick update to offer congratulations to Matt from the Halesowen who won a Wolverine Mighty Muggs in our last competition. The new competition is now live for November. If you are already a member of our mailing list then you will know how to enter as you should have received an email from us. September 19th 2009 - As Summer is coming to an end and people are inevitably starting to think about, dare I say it, Christmas, we thought we would help you out in your quest to find early bargains and stocking fillers. To that end we have put together a Mighty Muggs shop for you. There are Mighty Muggs for sale in there from as little as £3.95 and you will even find the recent San Diego Comic Con special edition Wolverine and Optimus Prime Mighty Muggs for sale. Bobble Heads Competition. A while ago we started a sister site to this one dedicated to Bobble Heads. We also launched a competition to give away a prize on that site at the end of August. The prize is a talking Simon Sez (Simon Cowell) Bobble Head. As with the Mighty Muggs competition prize all you have to do to enter is join the mailing list. The thing is that we haven't dedicated enough time to adding stuff to the site and so it hasn't been promoted very well. This all means that at the time of writing this, there are only 8 people on the mailing list. July 13th 2009 - updates are becoming less and less as it seems that the Mighty Muggs line will soon be no more although we have a couple of gems for you courtesy of exclusives from the 2009 San Diego Comic Con. One of these exclusives is absolutely awesome as it is non other than Wolverine with special retractable claws! The other is Optimus Prime with a nice new metallic suit. |

Competition Update. Only a couple of weeks to go before the winner of our custom Spock Mighty Muggs is announced. So our quest to find next time's competition prize needs to enter the next phase. I have changed the poll at the bottom of the page now as the winner of phase one was the Marvel Mighty Muggs range with a whopping 49% of the votes. That means that the next competition prize will come from the Marvel range. All you have to do now is vote again to decide which one. Those eagle eyed ones among you will notice that I have not listed absolutely everything in the Mighty Muggs Marvel range as some of them are now hard to come by and I want to guarantee there being a competition prize next month. Anyway, get voting! |

| May 27th 2009 - There has been little news of new releases coming out of Hasbro central recently about new Mighty Muggs releases, but what does seem certain is that the Mighty Muggs ranges will become exclusive to Target and Toys 'r' Us stores in the USA. Having said that, the San Diego Comic Con is only a month away so it will be interesting to see what new Muggs characters turn up there. There is no news of specific plans for distribution to the UK but the news does point to it becoming more difficult as time goes on to locate new Muggs. We'll keep our ear to the ground and let you know if we learn more. |

| We have also added a page to the site especially for custom Mighty Muggs. It seems there are plently of creative types out there who like to add their own special characters to their collections. Hasbro of course have made this even easier by making blanks available in either black or white. Click here to see some of the fantastic custom Mighty Muggs creations we have found so far. |

March 13th 2009 - although we knew about the release of a second and third wave of Mighty Muggs in the Transformers range, it has taken a while for them to be confirmed to the point where any of the retailers would start taking orders for them. Wave 2 of the Transformers Mighty Muggs consists of Grimlock and Starscream and will be available from the end of May. Wave 3 includes Jazz and Shockwave and will be available from the end of June. | March 8th 2009 - We have learned of some news of upcoming Mighty Muggs for 2009. These were recently revealed in New York and it is thought probable that some if not all of these will be making appearances at stores in the USA during the 2009. There are some really nice looking Mighty Muggs for you to look forward to including Magneto and Iceman which are likely, in the first instance at least to be exclisive to Target. The Green Goblin also looks like he will make an appearance, but the one we are really looking forward to is the new Spiderman. This has got to be the coolest Mighty Muggs yet designed because he has a removable Spidy mask! No news of release dates yet but we'll keep you updated. |

February 28th 2009 - A flurry of acivity sees us adding a second update to the site in as many days. Just announced is the 9th wave of Mighty Muggs in the Star Wars range. This wave sees some great looking characters from the original trilogy of Star Wars movies and includes the classic Obi-Wan Kenobi as played by Sir Alec Guinness, Luke Skywalker dressed for the cold on the ice planet Hoth, one of the Gamorrean Guards and a fantastic looking Imperial Scout Guard. |

February 27th 2009 - We found a Mighty Muggs addition to the Marvel range that tried to slip under the radar by being exclusive to Toys 'R' Us in the USA. However, now we've seen it, we had to talk about it because we think this is one of the best Mighty Muggs to date. You need to pull out all the stops and add The Punisher to your Mighty Muggs collection. Frank Castle never looked so mean and moody. And you thought all Mighty Muggs were cute little guys too! |

February 1st 2009 - If you're feeling a little disappointed that a Mighty Muggs as cute as Teebo is only available at Target stores, then prepare to feel a little bit better. An 8th wave of Star Wars Mighty Muggs has been announced, which is exclusive to Entertainment Earth in the USA, but will also be coming to Forbidden Planet in the UK. Wave 8 consists of Wicket the Ewok (seen here), the Imperial Guard, Qui-Gon Jinn and Wampa. |

January 24th 2009 - Hasbro have pulled a master stroke. They are churning out Mighty Muggs characters as fast as they can but have realised that they are not going to be able to keep pace with all the requests for different characters that they are being flooded with. They have therefore released two blank Mighty Muggs, one black and one white so that you can create your very own Mighty Muggs characters. November 2008 - As Hasbro own the license for Transformers merchandise it surely wasn't going to be long before they announced a range of Mighty Muggs in the Transformers universe. Sure enough, the end of April 2009 will see the launch of the first wave of Transformers Mighty Muggs. Wave 1 will include Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron and Soundwave. Wave 2 will follow at the end of May 2009 and will include Grimlock and Starscream. |

August 2008 - Hasbro have announced a tie in with the forthcoming live action movie G.I. Joe. Look out for wave one in January 2009 which will include classic G.I. Joe characters Cobra Commander, Duke, Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. They will be followed in March 2009 by wave two which will include Baroness and Destro. |

July 2008 - The San Diego Comic Con is normally a great venue to find exclusives of one form or another. The July 2008 show was no exception as Hasbro took the opportunity to create a SDCC exclusive. To tie in with the Indiana Jones franchise, the Hasbro team created an exclusive Indiana Jones Mighty Muggs featuring the likeness of the fertility idol featured in the movie. |
